Mortgage Payment Protection

If you were to ever be diagnosed with a critical illness or be faced with total disability, involuntary loss of employment or death, how would your mortgage be paid? With ACU's Mortgage Payment Protection (MPP), which is mortgage insurance that pays your mortgage when you can't. 

Mortgage Payment Protection can provide (upon claim approval):

Life coverage: should you die, your MPP pays the outstanding balance of your insured mortgage to a maximum of $1,000,000 plus accrued and settlement interest. Coverage ends when you turn 75.

Disability coverage: if you become totally disabled through sickness or accident, a monthly benefit covering your insured monthly mortgage payment to a maximum of $3,000 for up to 24 months per claim will be paid. Coverage ends when you turn 75.

Loss of Employment coverage: in the case of involuntary loss of employment, a monthly benefit covering your insured monthly mortgage payment to a maximum of $3,000 for up to 9 months per claim will be paid. Coverage ends when you turn 75.

Critical Illness coverage: if you are diagnosed with a covered critical illness, your coverage pays the outstanding balance of your insured mortgage to a maximum of $1,000,000 plus accrued and settlement interest.  The maximum eligibility age for critical illness coverage is 59; coverage ends when you turn 75.
