Members Return Three Incumbent Directors, Welcome Past Director Back

At ACU's Annual General Meeting on April 22 the result of the election for directors for the 2013-2016 term was announced. Eight candidates ran for four positions and members chose to return three incumbents and elect a past director. Garry Loewen, Margaret Day and Wilbur Coates were re-elected and Alain Molgat, who served on the legacy ACU board from 1998 to 2005, was elected.

Chair of the Nominating Committee, Vera Goussaert thanked the candidates for putting their names forward, including candidates Dan Richard, Kemlin Nembhard, Kevin Freedman and Pasha Dhillon. Goussaert also thanked exiting board member Susan Deane for her 16 years of service as an ACU director.

Garry Loewen stepped down as Chair of the Board and Margaret Day was welcomed as the new chair. Goussaert has been named Vice Chair.
