Eligibility
- You must be working at least 20 hours per week, on the date of the loan.
- Seasonal employees, vacationers, co-makers, co-borrowers and guarantors qualify.
Exclusions
- Currently disabled.
- Pre-existing condition, six months before to six months after the date of loan.
- Childbirth, abortion or miscarriage.
- Commission of a criminal offence.
Definition of Disability
From the 2nd to the 12th month of disability, you must be disabled from your own occupation. After the 12th month, you must be disabled from any occupation that you are reasonably qualified for based on education, training and experience.
