Paying your bills using CU@HOME

Adding bill payees from our list of over 6000 local and national vendors

  1. Log in to CU@HOME on any page of the ACU website.
  2. Click on the Payments tab at the top of the CU@HOME page, and choose Add Payee to add bill payees, or Delete Payee to remove a payee. Have a recent vendor billing with you so you can add your account number for the payee.
  3. Any changes to payees that you make through CU@HOME will also take effect in CU by PHONE, and vice versa.
  4. If the vendor you want to pay is not on our vendor listing, you can contact us and request that the vendor be added to our vendor list.

After you've added your personal list of bill payees, you can then select Pay Bills to pay your bills, and even choose one of the other options such as Schedule Recurring Payments to set up recurring bill payments.

Steps for Easy Bill Payment using CU@HOME

  1. Log in to CU@HOME on any page of the ACU website.
  2. Click on the Payments tab at the top of the Online Banking page.
  3. Click on the Pay From drop down arrow to display all available accounts, and choose the account from which to pay the bill(s).
  4. Under Pay Payee, click the checkbox beside each payee you wish to pay.
  5. If you wish to change the date for any payment, click on the calendar to create a future Scheduled Payment.
  6. Insert the amount.
  7. Click Pay Bills to proceed with the payment.

Paying your bills using CU by PHONE

Adding bill payees from our list of over 6000 local and national vendors

  1. Call one of the following numbers and follow the steps below.
      Outside Winnipeg, within Canada: 1.877.958.8588
      Outside Canada: 204.958.8588
      In Winnipeg: 204.958.8588
  2. Press 1 for telephone banking.
  3. Follow the prompts to enter your 16-digit debit card number and your Personal Access Code (PAC).
  4. Press 5 for the Bill Payment feature.
  5. Follow the prompts to make additions and deletions to your personal vendor list. If you are adding to your personal vendor list, have a recent vendor billing with you so you can add your account number for the payee.
    Any changes you make through CU by PHONE will also take effect in CU@HOME, and vice versa.
  6. If the vendor you want to pay is not on our vendor listing, you can contact us and request that the vendor be added to our vendor list.

After you've added your personal list of bill payees, you can then follow the steps below to pay your bills.

Steps for Easy Bill Payment using CU by PHONE

  1. Call one of the following numbers and follow the steps below.

  2. Press 1 for telephone banking. 
  3. Follow the prompts to enter your 16-digit debit card number and your Personal Access Code (PAC).
  4. Press 5 for the Bill Payment feature.
  5. If you wish to use the Voice Recognition functionality, say “Bill Payment” and then answer the questions to instruct CU by PHONE which account to use (you must be aware of your sub-account number if you have more than one chequing or savings account), which bill to pay, and how much.
    (a) If you choose to use the keypad, say "Touchtone" or press *7. Indicate the account you wish to use, choose your vendor from the list provided, and enter the amount you wish to pay.
  6. Your request will be played back to you and you will be given the option to proceed or start over.
  7. Once the transaction is complete, you will be given a trace number to record on your bill in case you ever have to refer back to it.
  8. Once you have paid all your bills, you can make another selection, or press *# to end the call, or simply hang up.
