Try e-Statements
In keeping with our mandate as a socially responsible company that chooses environmentally responsible solutions whenever possible, we are pleased to offer our members e-statements.
e-Statements are identical to paper statements – including cheque images – but offer the added convenience of paperless storage, secure 24-hour access and receipt of your statement sooner than by mail. There is no need to print copies for your records; e-statements are archived for seven years from date of issue, starting November 14, 2008 when we converted to our current banking system.
e-Statements are available through CU@HOME online banking automatically – no need to sign up! If you're not already signed up for online banking, give our Member Communication Centre a call at 204.958.8588 or 1.877.958.8588 (toll free) and they will get you set up.
Go paperless
There are many great reasons to do so. Maybe you want to declutter. Or maybe you would like to lessen your impact on the environment by reducing the use of raw materials, water and energy, not to mention the emissions, that are all a part of producing paper.
To qualify for discontinuation of your paper statements:
- You must be prepared to review and verify transactions posted on your account by viewing your e-statement on CU@HOME. Any inconsistencies must be reported within 30 days of the posting date of the e-statement.
- Most Business/Organization Accounts are not currently able to discontinue receiving paper statements.
You have two ways to opt out of receiving paper statements:
1. Simply call our Member Communication Centre at 204.958.8588 or toll free at 1.877.958.8588 and one of our representatives will set you up,
OR
2. Visit any of our branches and ask to discontinue paper statements, and a representative will help you out.
Change your frequency
If you would still like to receive paper statements, but less often, we also offer quarterly statements. Please note, this will also apply to the frequency of your e-statement. For more information, please call our Member Communication Centre at 204.958.8588 or toll free at 1.877.958.8588.
