Access to credit can be difficult for any small business, especially when you are just starting out. It can be even more difficult when you have few resources to draw from. That’s why we partner with SEED Winnipeg to provide access to credit for participants of their Build-a-Business Program.

SEED Winnipeg offers a business management training program for individuals living on low incomes and supports them to complete a business plan. With a sound business plan, those in need of financing can access small loans at ACU through a joint SEED-ACU credit review process that considers both the strength of the business and the value added to the community.

ACU employees also provide knowledge-building seminars for Build-a-Business participants.
