We welcome the opportunity to sponsor events that benefit our community and provide Assiniboine Credit Union with recognition and profile. In order to process applications, requests must be received at least four weeks prior to the event

We sponsor:

Who is eligible to apply?

• Non-profits, registered charities, cooperatives and social enterprises (a business that has a social, environmental or cultural purpose and reinvests all its profits in the community or back into the business)
• Organizations whose mission and values are consistent with the mission and values of Assiniboine Credit Union

We give preference to:

Organizations working in:

• Community Renewal: reducing poverty and homelessness, building assets, and fostering economic self-reliance
• Environmental Sustainability: creating positive solutions to environmental concerns
• Community Enterprise Development: developing and strengthening cooperatives and social enterprises
• Arts and Culture: providing opportunities for Manitobans to experience a diverse range of cultural and artistic expression
• Human Rights and Social Inclusion: promoting human rights and freedoms, and increasing the social participation of marginalized members of the community

Smaller organizations that do not have substantial budgets or many other sources of funding

We do not sponsor:

• Individuals
• Political parties and affiliated activities
• Religious activities
• Third party fundraisers
• Health care facilities; medical research, services or equipment
• Sports teams and sporting events
• Major capital projects (except for Fundraising Events above)

Limitations and Conditions:

• Due to limited funding, we sponsor only one event per organization per year
• You must submit a short application along with your sponsorship materials
• After the event, you agree to submit a short report outlining the success of the event and how ACU was recognized
