Through our Community Sponsorships and Grants, we support a variety of community events, projects and programs that contribute to the social, economic, and environmental well-being of the communities where we live and work. Please note that these programs require written applications available online (see Tools and Resources).

While we would like to support every worthwhile cause, with limited resources we cannot honour every request. However, we will ensure that every application is reviewed carefully and evaluated against set criteria to ensure that funds are invested carefully.

Community Sponsorships

Our Community Sponsorships give us the opportunity to sponsor events that benefit our community and provide Assiniboine with recognition and profile.  We support:

• Community fundraising events and campaigns (ACU members only)
• Community arts and cultural events
• Community festivals
• Community access (for individuals and organizations that would otherwise not be able to afford to attend an event)

Sustainable Community Grants

We welcome the opportunity to support projects and programs that help to foster self-reliant, sustainable communities and neighbourhoods. Through the Sustainable Community Grants Program, ACU seeks to support projects and programs that contribute to at least one of the following focus areas:

• Community Renewal
• Environmental Sustainability
• Cooperative Development

Scholarships
